The Al-Nassr vs. Inter Miami Clash: No Ronaldo-Messi Reunion as Portuguese Star Ruled Out with Injury

Due to an injury, Cristiano Ronaldo will not get the chance to reunite with Lionel Messi, Al-Nassr coach Luis Castro announced on Wednesday.

Ronaldo is reportedly recovering from a calf injury, therefore he won't be ready to play in Thursday's exhibition match between Al-Nassr and Inter Miami in Riyadh.

Before rejoining the team, Cristiano is nearing the end of his recovery. We anticipate that he will begin working with the team in the coming days. Thus, it will undoubtedly mean that he misses the match (against Inter Miami)," Castro stated during a press conference.

When they were playing in Spain, Messi and Ronaldo were bitter rivals for Barcelona and Real Madrid, respectively. Between them, they have won 13 of the previous 15 Ballon d'Or trophies given to the greatest player in the world.
